April 15, 1953

President Al Swanson called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. a prayer was offered by Russell Taylor.  Following this came  the installation of new officers:

At 7:40 p.m., new President Charles Lincoln called the business meeting to order.  The status of certain members was discussed.  The business meeting was adjourned temporarily torment installation ceremonies for pledge, Tom O’Connell..  following the ceremony, the business meeting was resumed.  Dave Houston hospital volunteer to work with the next year’s campus chess Drive.  A report from the Springfield conference was given by Charles Lincoln, describing the activities of the program, Keio chapter sent seven members.  Dave Houston, Bill Whitmore and Wes Mowry gave brief talks on the workshops which they attended.  A motion was made and seconded for the corresponding secretary to send a letter of thanks to the Springfield chapter.  The address of the secretary of correspondence for next year’s  New England conference is Delta Sigma chapter, the BU, Chester Wright.  The motion was made and seconded by Al Swanson for Keio chapter to  place a bid to hold a conference here.  The motion was seconded in past.

Bill Whitmore gave a report on the coming international club meeting and expressed a desire for Alpha Phi Omega members to aid.

Secretary’s report was read and accepted.  Try chapter campout with AIC and Springfield was suggested by Bill Whitmore sometime in the future.a motion was made to express ourselves in form of holding such a project

The meeting was adjourned with our Fellowship Circle and singing of Taps.  Refreshments follow.
